Another French coach Benitez rejects Marseille approach

Rafa Benitez has rejected an approach from Olympique Marseille. The French team had earlier contacted Maurizio Sarri shortly after the sack of Andre Villas-Boas.

After the dismissal of Villas-Boas this week, OM have made a move for former Newcastle United boss Benitez.

But Marca says the Spaniard has turned down the inquiry.

Now a free agent after leaving China’s Dalian Pro, Benitez wants to continue his career in England.

He has also been linked with a return to Napoli this week.
