Tickets for December 12 clash between Nigeria born British pugilist Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev opens on Friday organisers have revealed with no fewer than 1000 fans expected to storm the venue.

Fans have been unable to attend boxing matches amid the coronavirus pandemic with fights having been held behind closed doors.

Two-time heavyweight world champion Joshua returns to action for the first time in a year as he takes on Pulev in a bout that was originally scheduled for the summer.

They were due to meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the pandemic struck with Joshua having been left on the sidelines.

The cheapest ticket for the Joshua versus Pulev showdown has been put at £100, about N50, 345.60.

Venue managers have assured that all covid-19 protocols will be observed adding that collaboration with health authorities has been taking seriously.
