April 13 Bout: Anthony Joshua shows off bulging back muscles

It really doesn’t matter who Anthony Joshua’s opponent in the proposed April 13 fight would be but the Nigeria born English boxer appear to have sent warning to the would be opponent to be ready to face hard punches.

Joshua cranked up his warm weather training in Dubai as the heavyweight king showed off his incredible back muscles during a pull-up exercise.

The 29-year-old has looked to escape the chill of England during the winter months and is building up to his next bout out in a far warmer and tougher climate.

Alongside close friends, many of which are personal trainers, Joshua showed parts of his workout on Instagram as he trained his back muscles, worked on his dead-lift and also used a resistance band round his ankles.

In the heat of Dubai, it proved an intense workout for Joshua and the only way he could allow his muscles and body to recuperate was to finish with an ice bath. While the muscular display could serves as warning to opponents, female admirers of the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion are reportedly enjoying the post and imagining things.

After a successful dust-up in Los Angeles at the end of 2018, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are believed to favour a rematch.

Fellow British fighter Dillian Whyte is keen to have a rematch with Joshua after losing to him back in 2015 and the two got into the ring together after Whyte’s recent win over Dereck Chisora at the O2 Arena.

For now Joshua is enjoying his time out in Dubai, both relaxing with friends and ensuring he stays in peak physical condition.
