Aribo excited to score against Brazil

Glasgow Rangers midfielder, Joe Aribo is delighted to have scored against a Brazilian side that gave Nigeria’s Super Eagles a tough game despite the encounter ending 1-1 at the National Stadium in Singapore.

Aribo and second goal for Eagles

The 23-year-old is gradually cementing his place after scoring his second goal for the team in two consecutive appearances.

He broke the deadlock in the 35th minute after finding space inside the 18-yard box to drive in a low shot past Manchester City’s Ederson.

Getting on the score sheet capped a good outing for a player  who was almost doubtful for the friendly following a horrific injury prior to the friendly.

“Tough game against a top Brazil side! Team put in a shift till the end. Delighted to have got a goal!! Thank you to all the supporters that came out tonight and also everyone supporting worldwide! 🦅🇳🇬 @NGSuperEagles #SoarSuperEagles,”Aribo tweeted.
