Five-time world champions, Brazil were on Sunday held to a 1-1 draw by Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the Singapore National Stadium in a friendly.

Brazil v Nigeria

It was the second draw for the South Americans in a space of four days after their international friendly against Senegal also at the same venue.

It was an entertaining match that produced some fine moments from both sides.

The Eagles took the lead against the run of play with Glasgow Rangers striker Aribo quick to react in the Brazil box lashing home in the 35th minute as Marquinhos dawdled.

It was Aribo’s second for the former Africa champions with his first against Ukraine also in a friendly.

Brazil were soon level shortly after the interval when Casemiro stabbed home the rebound after Maquinhos had headed off the woodwork.

The draw sees Brazil now failing to win a match in their past four outings.

Another major concern from the Seleção perspective was the limping off Neymar in the 12th minute of the action.
