Arsenal intensify interest in Norwich midfielder

Arsenal are stepping up their interest in Norwich City midfielder Emiliano Buendia.

The Gunners have been long-term admirers of Buendia and were credited with interest last summer but never made the move.

However, after tracking the midfielder’s progress at Carrow Road and witnessing his impressive form this season, Mikel Arteta is eager to add him to his ranks.

Goal says Arsenal’s technical director Edu has intensified the club’s interest in Buendia and labelled him as their primary target for this summer’s transfer window.

The Gunners are yet to make an official offer for the Norwich City playmaker but are said to be preparing to firm up their interest shortly.
