Arsenal lead EPL clubs in race to land Super Eagles forward

Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to land Super Eagles and Genk forward Paul Onuachu as more Premier League clubs queue up for the signature of the Nigerian international.

Onuachu recently disclosed that the Emirates dwellers are his favourite club in the English topflight and The Athletic suggests the Gunners are front runners to sign the striker, who netted 35 goals in the 2020-21 season in Belgium.

Interestingly, Watford are among the latest Premier League who have signified interest in signing Onuachu after he was also linked with the duo of West Ham and Brighton.

Genk are hoping to cash in on this transfer with experts suggesting a transfer fee of around €25m and €30m.

The Eagles forward cost the Belgian club €6m two years ago from Danish club FC Midtjylland.
