The report claims that the Gunners are ready to match French side Lyon who have also tabled the same amount for the player who may leave Belgium club this summer.

Another club on the trail of Dennis who scored seven goals in 26 appearances last season is Turkish side Fenerbahce, but it is unlikely if they would be able to go toe-to-toe with the two clubs.

But while Arsenal is yet to make any statement, the move for the attacker appears not to go down well with Gunners fans who think the Unai Emery-led side should concentrate on reinforcing the defence which struggled last season.

Arsenal conceded too many goals in the Premier League and in Europe.
