Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira, is close to securing a loan move to Fiorentina.

The Uruguayan was at Atletico Madrid in La Liga last season, helping Diego Simeone’s outfit to the title.

According to football.london, Torreira is frozen out at Arsenal by manager Mikel Arteta.

The source claims that Torreira is training individually at Colney and will be traveling to Italy to complete his transfer.

The move could be done by midweek, with Torreira set for a medical in the coming days.

The 25-year-old is unlikely to have much of a future at Arsenal, unless there is a change in management.
