Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka finished in second place behind Scottland international Kieran Tierney who has been crowned Arsenal’s Player for the Month of June.
Tierney’s victory was announced on the Gunners official website on Monday after he secured forty percent of the vote cast to defeat Saka with Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka coming third.
Saka played in all matches for the north London side last month except its 2-1 defeat at Brighton, where he lasted for 87 minutes.
Recently Saka ended speculation over his Arsenal future after signing a new long term deal following his performance on the pitch which has equally attracted the attention of the English Football Association and Nigerian Federation.
Saka was born and raised in England though born by Nigeria parents which makes him eligible to play for the Nigeria senior national team. He has however featured for the England junior national team.
