Arsenal winger Pepe sets deadline for transfer decision after Everton snub

Arsenal winger, Nicolas Pepe, will assess his options in January if his playing time doesn’t improve.

The Ivorian winger was once again on the substitutes bench as Arsenal lost 2-1 to Everton at Goodison Park.

Pepe, the club’s record signing, was snubbed by manager Mikel Arteta, who instead opted to introduce striker Eddie Nketiah as a left-winger.

Having fallen out of favour with Arteta, Pepe is open to leaving the club if his situation doesn’t change.

A loan deal is the most likely scenario for Pepe, according to football.london.

However, the 26-year-old’s salary could be a stumbling block for any potential move.

Arsenal paid £72.5m to sign Pepe from Lille in 2019.
