Arteta admits Arsenal squad needs overhauling

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta strongly believes his squad needs complete overhauling.

Arteta has said his squad will need a revamp after a disappointing season.

The Gunners have not qualified for European football for the first time in 25 years and they are currently tenth in the Premier League table.

He said: “The squad needs changing.

“There were already a lot of changes in December, something that has not been done in years, but it tells us where we were. Things are going to have to change and the owners are going to back it up.”
