Aubamayeng not feeling pressure to lift Arsenal

September’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month, Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng, says he is playing with freedom and is sure Gunners will qualify for UEFA Champions League

The player  has won more points for his team than any Premier League player this season but he does not seem burdened by his role as Arsenal’s match-winner.

The former Africa Footballer of the Year’s seven goals have been worth nine points to Arsenal, three more than anyone else heading into Matchweek 9.

But September’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month feels no pressure as he targets back-to-back Golden Boots and qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

“I feel great,” Aubameyang said as he was presented with his second EA SPORTS monthly award ahead of Monday’s trip to Sheffield United.

“I’m feeling free on the pitch. I don’t know if it’s the best form of my career but it’s a good one so I will try to keep the level up.

“I’m sure we will achieve the top four. That’s the goal. That’s our aim.”
