Aubameyang apologises after shocking miss against Benfica
Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has apologised to fans and his teammates for missing a good chance against Benfica in the Europa League.
The Gunners played out a 1-1 draw away from home in the first leg of their round of 32 knockout clash.

Gabon striker Aubameyang had an excellent chance to give his team a first-half lead but hit his shot wide from roughly six yards out.

“We deserved better and I should score a couple of goals but still one game to go, we keep going,” Aubameyang wrote on Twitter.
Asked about Aubameyang’s chances, Arteta added: “Well, these things happen.
“He was unlucky not to score two or three tonight because in normal circumstances that would be the case.”
