Gabon International forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has backed Nigeria to enjoy a successful 2018 FIFA World Cup because of his Arsenal teammate Alex Iwobi and the gorgeous Super Eagles kit.

The flamboyant 28-year-old, who moved to the North London side in January 2018 for a club record £56m immediately struck a perfect relationship with the Nigerian on and off the pitch, scoring ten goals in 13 league appearances.

Gabon did not qualify for the Mundial but the former Borussia Dortmund striker has thrown his weight behind the three-time African champions to make the continent proud at football’s biggest competition starting on June 14.
