Aussie Open champ Naomi Osaka thrills her fans with new loook

Naomi Osaka loves to amaze her fans and the world of tennis. This time, the 4-time Slam champion and winner of the Australian Open 2021, shared with her followers on Instagram a photo with her new hairstyle and, above all, her new hair color: pink, paying homage to Sakura Haruno, the famous character of the Japanese manga Naruto.

Naomi paired her bright locks with bold pink eyeliner and a matching light pink lip. “Sakura could never lol,” she wrote describing the photo, referring to Sakura Haruno, the female character of the popular Naruto, known for her pink hair, and for being the main love interest of the two protagonists of the manga, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.

After winning the Australian Open, Osaka said she was planning to celebrate by watching some anime and maybe eating pizza. Fans and celebrities shared how much they loved Osaka’s new look it truly surpassed her character

“U wore it better,” said Usain Bolt declared. “Has anyone told you that pink looks BOMB on you?” said a comment. Or: “Oh my god you look lovely, I’m screaming in pink,” and: “I’m living for this!” Naruto is a manga written and drawn by Masashi Kishimoto and published from October 1999 to November 2014 in Shūeisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, for a total of 15 years of serialization.
