AWCON FALLOUT: Falcons defenders make Footy-Ghana best eleven

Super Falcons defender, Ngozi Ebere has made the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, FOOTY-GHANA Team of the Tournament, despite not making the CAF X1.

The Barcelona FA Women left back, who was making her fourth AWCON final, was joined on the list by Falcons captain Onome Ebi, goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi and Francesca Ordega, who was voted the Player of the Match against South Africa in the final.

Recalled Ebere scored the decisive penalty against Cameroon that sent Nigeria into the final and was also on target against South Africa during the shoot-out after 120 minutes that failed to produce a goal.

On the other hand, Asisat Oshoala made the bench along with six other players from Cameroon, South Africa and Mali.
