Awoniyi increases his goal tally for Senior national team
Taiwo Awoniyi was in super form as usual on Saturday as he grabbed his second goal for the senior national team. The Union Berlin ace scored in the closing minute of first half in the match against Sudan which help catapult Eagles into the group of of 16.
Recall that he scored his first goal for the national team in the World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic scoring the only goal under former Coach Gernot Rohr.

Awoniyi who played from U-17,U20 and U23 before progressing to the senior team scored a total of 13 goals for the junior sides. His performance so far at the ongoing Nations cup has reportedly impressed the technical crew and indication that he is set to become a regular for the Super Eagles.
