Azeez in line to replace Ndidi ahead of Eagles October friendlies

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr may replace Wilfred Ndidi with Ramon Azeez ahead of next month’s international friendly matches against Conte d’Ivoire and Tunisia.

The Leicester of England midfielder withdrew from both matches on Tuesday night due to an injury that he has been managing since the start of the season.

Azeez who plays for Spanish La Liga side, Granada is the only midfielder on the standby list released by Rohr and could be announced in the coming days.

The friendly fixtures against the Elephants and Carthage Eagles will hold on October 9 and 13 respectively in Austria.
