Gareth Bale’s agent has handed his old club Spurs and Manchester United a blow by claiming the Real Madrid superstar will see out his eye-watering £650,000-a-week contract – running to the summer of 2022.
The Wales attacker, 30, was close to leaving the Spanish giants last year following a public fall-out with boss Zinedine Zidane.
A big-money move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning collapsed at the 11th hour while injury and illness has limited Bale to just 14 Real appearances this season.
But Jonathan Barnett, speaking at the Association of Football Agents meeting in London, said: “He’s got another two-and-a-half years left on his contract, and he’s fine.
“He will be there, everything will be fine.
