Barcelona are not thinking of re-signing Neymar, according to the club’s vice-president Jordi Cardoner.
The 26-year-old Paris Saint Germain forward scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barca between 2013 and 2017 before completing a world-record move to PSG last summer.
There are however reports that the Brazilian who has netted 39 times in 41 appearances for PSG, has become unsettled in France.
“No one on the Barca board has talked about the possibility of bringing back Neymar, right now we can’t give an answer because no one has even mentioned it,” Cardoner told SER Catalunya.
“He was the one who left, it would be different if we hadn’t believed him and now we wanted to bring him back, but that’s not the case. If we did want to sign him then the board would have to discuss it but until now no one has talked about it.”
