Spanish giants have re-affirmed bid to secure rave of the moment, Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen.
Speculated hints from France revealed that Lille Sporting Director, Luis Campos, has been under pressure to keep the Nigerian player out of the transfer market after a brilliant start to his career in France.
The Nigeria international has been linked with a possible move to Barcelona, who are combing the market for a striker to replace the aging Luis Suárez.
Only on Thursday, Osimhen was named as the Ligue 1 Player of the Month for September 2019 after scoring two goals and providing two others last month.
Speaking to RMC Sport, Campos said : ”When you are a club like Lille, it is difficult to keep hold of a striker who scores goals… we’ll be under assault… if he continues like this.
”It is normal, in the way football currently is Like all the players who have arrived at Lille in this project, the idea is to continue to help them to improve, for them to help the club and the team to improve in turn.”
