Barcelona coach dismisses Messi injury concerns

Barcelona coach, Ronald Koeman, has said ‘Lionel Messi is in good shape’ ahead of their Supercopa de Espana semi against Real Sociedad.

Koeman assured that the Argentine was fine despite suffering a knock in the last game against Granada.

“The other day, there were several players who felt some discomfort, one of whom was Leo,” he said.

“That’s why we subbed him off, like Frenkie [de Jong] and [Sergino] Dest, but it seems that everyone is available.

“That includes [Ronald] Araujo. Although he didn’t train this afternoon.”
