Barcelona directors convinced Man Utd in Dembele contact

Barcelona directors are convinced Manchester United are in contact with Ousmane Dembele.

United made a late attempt to sign the France attacker before the summer market shut last month.

And Mundo Deportivo says Barca sources insist they know United are still in touch with Dembele about a move to Old Trafford.

Form, fitness, and disciplinary problems have plagued Dembele’s time at the Nou Camp, but that hasn’t put off United.

Tied to Barca until 2022, the Catalans would be willing to sell Dembele in January, though United have no interest in meeting their €70-80m valuation.

United would prefer a loan arrangement, but that won’t suit Barca, which need quick sales to ease the growing financial pressure.
