Barcelona nervy over Man Utd interest for Dembele

Barcelona have concerns over the contract situation of Ousmane Dembele.

The France attacker is inside the final 18 months of his contract at Barca and is in career-best form.

Sport says Barca management are nervous, knowing there’s major interest arriving for the attacker ahead of the summer market. If nothing can be agreed in the coming months, the coming transfer window would represent Barca’s best chance to gain a premium price.

However, their priority is to keep hold of Dembele and hope to secure him to new terms.

The Catalans know Manchester United are in contact with Dembele’s entourage and made an attempt for him last summer.
