Barcelona suffer De Jong, Gavi double injury blow

Barcelona suffered a double injury blow during Wednesday’s friendly defeat at RB Salzburg.

In front of a raucous full house, Barca lost 2-1 to the Austrians.

And as Barca’s medical staff confirmed this morning, Frenkie de Jong and Gavi suffered injuries during the game.

In the case of Gavi, who turns 17 today, he suffered a fracture in his right jaw. Regarding De Jong, he strained the calf muscle in his right leg.
