BATTLE AGAINST EGYPT: Salah, others confirmed for Eagles

Sportinglife.ng can reveal excluisvely that the Pharaohs of Egypt will parade their best players, especially the current Africa Footballer of the Year, Mohammed Salah for the March 26 international friendly game inside the late Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

Other top Egyptian stars expected in Asaba for the March 26 game are Mohammed Elneny (Arsenal), Ramadan Sobhi (Huddersfield FC of England), Ahmed Hegazy (West Bromwich Albion FC , Trezeguet (Kasimapas FC) among other Egyptian stars in Europe and in their domestic league. Under the match arrangement, Nigeria will field her big players such as Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, Francis Uzoho, Leon Balogun, Williams Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo etc.

Sportinglife.ng gathered further that the Delta State government will underwrite all the expenses for the game including the Egyptians’ flight arrangement in a bid to avoid any major disappointment.

Interestingly, chieftains of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have written a letter of approval to the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) for the March 26 international friendly game between Nigeria and Egypt to be played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
