Battle of Setsoto : underdog tag our advantage over Eagles- Senong

Lesotho coach Thabo Senong says his team’s underdog tag will be an advantage even as he hopes that Bloemfontein Celtic striker Motebang Sera can continue with his scoring form when they face Super Eagles at the Setsoto Stadium on Sunday.

Sera has hit target in back to back matches against SuperSport United and Highlands Park respectively.

Sesong has been cautious with his players insisting that they have to be in top form in their double header against Senegal and Nigeria.

The South Africa born coach believes underdog tag which his team has been given is an added advantage describing both Sierra leone and Nigeria as power houses of African football.

The tag he further noted will ginger his side to go the extra mile without necessarily playing under pressure.

“I am comfortable with us being tagged as underdogs because that will put us in a room of always working hard and focusing in our game because our job is to surprise the so-called big guns without any pressure,” Senong added.
