Bayern eye €100 million move for PSG’s Xavi Simons

Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Xavi Simons remains a top target for Bayern Munich, with the German club prepared to meet a transfer fee of close to €100 million.

Bayern’s new sporting director, Max Eberl, is well-acquainted with the 21-year-old talent, having facilitated his move to RB Leipzig. During his loan spell at Leipzig, Simons impressed with 10 goals and 15 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.

Eberl now faces the complex task of negotiating Simons’ transfer, which involves not only PSG but also his former team PSV Eindhoven, who are entitled to a portion of the transfer fee until 2025. Additionally, RB Leipzig’s involvement adds another layer of intricacy to the negotiations.
