The French international will join the Bavarian giants and the end of the season, signing a five-year deal to keep him at the club until 2026.

Upamecano has at various points been a long-term target for several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, like so many exciting Bundesliga talents before him, the 22-year-old has opted to join the German champions.
