Bayern Munich renew interest on £135m-rated Premier league star
Bayern Munich have reportedly renewed their interest in Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, and have contacted agent Giovanni Branchini about a move.
Sane is yet to play in the Premier League this season after injuring his ACL during the Community Shield against Liverpool on August 4.
The 23-year-old, who is not due back until January at the earliest, was wanted by Bayern last summer, and now the Bundesliga champions are reigniting their desire to land the Germany international.
Sane’s current injury is unlikely to make a deal in January viable, but Goal report that Bayern are confident of securing his services for next summer.
They also report that members of Bayern’s hierarchy were pictured meeting with Italian agent Branchini, who has close links with the club.
Furthermore, German publication Bild previously reported that Branchini had in fact met with Sane’s agent David Gardner in October to discuss a potential move.
There has been a long-held interest in Sane from Bayern Munich, who sacked Niko Kovac at the beginning of the month following a poor run of form domestically.

However, Manchester City are not willing to let the winger go without a fight and would demand £135million – nearly four times the amount they bought him for.
