Bayern star names Saka among top five fullbacks in the world

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has rated among the top five fullbacks in the world according to Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies.

David made the disclosure in an interview on 90 minutes which was reproduced by Tribuna with the defender also including himself on the list. He also mentioned Inter Milan new signing Hakimi as one of them.

“I really like how Benji [Pavard – a Bayern teammate] plays, scoring goals and getting assists, so those two.

“Trent Alexander-Arnold definitely and I really like [Bukayo] Saka from Arsenal. He’s a really good player.”

Saka is in the running for Arsenal’s Player of the Season after enjoying a breakout season.

Saka is predominantly a winger but can play as a left-back, left wing-back and left midfielder.

Saka has been nominated for the prestigious 2020 Golden Boy, an award previously won by Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling.
