Beef up security, Ezeji charges LMC on new season
Nigeria Professional Football League, (NPFL), star player, Vuctor Ezeji, has appealed to the League
Management Company, (LMC) to beef up security towards an hitch-free season.
Ezeji said it is mandatory to secure the lives of footballers, fans and officials expected to enter all the
designated stadiums approved by the organisers of the league.
According to him, football fans would be eager to come out and support their teams without nursuring the fear of any danger that may occur during the game from the act of hooliganism.
Ezeji also proposed to the LMC to train all the security personnel expected to be on duty throughout the football
season.
He also called on the clubs to educate their fans and officials to conduct themselves morally and be good
ambassadors of their respective clubs.
Ezeji called on the LMC, especially on the referees, as they stand the risk of dancing to the tune of clubs whose fans threaten to beat them up and wound them when the cips are down.
