Kada City who debuted in the lower league this season have made it to the Nigeria Professional Football League cadre after the finished first in Group A with five points ahead of Gombe United who also ended their campaign in the group with five points to pick the second ticket to the topflight in the group. Kada were ahead on superior goals difference and are in the final.

Both teams played a dull goalless draw in their final game thus rendering the result of Kogi United and Real Stars inconsequential. Kogi United finished in close third with four points after thru pipped Real Stars 2-1 in the first game of the day. Tunde Abdulrahman’s led side will rue their 3-0 meltdown against Kada City in the second game as the reason  for their failure to end the Super 8 among the four teams  that got the promotion tickets.
