Benin 0:1 Nigeria:  Eagles clinch last minute victory

It was Paul Onuachu’s 93 minute goal that eventually gave Eagles victory when everyone had  concluded it would be a goalless draw.

We had seen the end of the first 45 minutes  that was very quite

Just in the last minute of the first half fine save from Onyekuru strike  by  Benin Goalkeeper if not the Eagles would have had a goal in the kitty.

Very quiet match if you ask me, may be the boys are waiting to finally shine in the second half.

from all indications this looks like a game that will end goalless. Approaching the twilight of the match the Squirrels decided to play defensive and Eagles equally decided to be cautious .

No victor no vanquished  kind of game the Eagles can return and face Lesotho in another match that promises to be without pressure. That was the submission just before Onuachu scored to change the narative
