Benteke assures Belgium: I’ll be ready

Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke remains confident of a place in Belgium’s Euros squad.

Benteke insists he’s happy to work with Inter Milan star Lukaku for the national team.

He said, “We don’t have to take these choices personally.

“I think I have been efficient every time the coach called me. It is up to me to be ready and show that I can help the team when I play.

“I am one of the experienced players so I will not be able to hide if Romelu is absent. I have to take my responsibilities if they arise.”
