Booze Addiction: Maradona’s daughters set to drag him to court

Argentine great Diego Maradona may have adopted the slogan ‘a day without booze is a day wasted’ and his daughters say it is not only unacceptable but have resolved to drag him to court.

Worried daughters Giannina and Dalma insist efforts aimed at stopping their fathers romance with booze has hit the rocks leaving them only with one option, that of dragging him before the court of law.

The Argentinian icon has long suffered when it comes to booze and his family members are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.

Giannina, who was married to Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero between 2008 and 2012, has spoken out on her father.

The 31-year-old fashion designer has experienced troubled times with dad Diego down the years.

One recent incident saw Giannina find her father choking as he passed out drunk on his birthday last October.

A video of the 59-year-old went viral too of him pulling a moony while dancing with ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda.

Ojeda claimed the video which ended up online was recorded in Mexico “over a year ago,” and made clear the leaking of the clip was “malicious”.

He could be seen stumbling around the dance floor in the home video, and the 1986 World Cup winner’s daughters have had enough.
