Brazil/Nigeria Friendly: Firmimo, Neymar, Jesus named in 23-man squad to face Eagles
Brazil on Friday announced a 23-man squad which includes PSG star Neymar, Liverpool’s Roberto Firmimo for the October 10 and 13 international friendly matches against Senegal and Nigeria.
Among those on the list are three newcomers, goalkeeper Santos Rodrigo Caio, and Gabriel Barbosa, who won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Returning from suspension is Manchester City’s forward Gabriel Jesus.
“Facing two strong African teams will be an excellent test for the Brazilian National Team,” said Brazil coach, Tite who has had the opportunity to face only Cameroon so far.
In the match, Brazil won by a lone goal which was scored by Richarlison who is now a teammate of Alex Iwobi at Everton.
