Breaking: Siasia’s mother finally regains freedom
Mother of former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia’s mother has regained their freedom 10 weeks after abducted by heavily armed men.
Madam Beauty Ogere along with others were kidnapped on July 15 by gunmen who invaded the family’s Odoni home in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
“We thank God and every other Nigerians that have assisted us in ensuring Mama return home,” said a member of Siasia’s family.
This would be the second time in four years that Siasia’s mum would be kidnapped.
Only last week the kidnappers had threatened to kill Siasia’s mum if he failed to pay an undisclosed amount.
He had sought the help of the authorities after parting away with N1.5m.
She was abducted in November 2015 by a gang of gunmen who released her after spending 12 days in their custody.
