Brendan Rodgers to coach Ndidi, Iheanacho at Leicester

Brendan Rogers will be the next coach of Super Eagles duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho at Premier League side, Leicester City after reaching a compensation agreement with Celtic.

The Foxes have moved quickly to land their first-choice target after parting ways with former manager, Claude Puel on Sunday following a poor run of results that leaves them 12th on the table.

Rodgers has previously handled Premier League league sides Swansea City and Liverpool.

Rodgers has spent the past three seasons north of the border with Celtic, winning a clean sweep of domestic trophies in his first two campaigns and remaining on course to do likewise this term.

However, the Northern Irishman will not stay at Celtic Park to see the job through as he is expected to be in charge for Leicester’s meeting with Watford on Sunday.

Leicester are said to have handed over £6m to the Hoops as part of the agreement, and personal talks with Rodgers are now at an advanced stage.
