Brighton make offer to Chelsea for youngster Tariq Lamptey

Brighton have made an appealing offer to Chelsea for youngster Tariq Lamptey.

The 19-year-old is out of contract in the summer, meaning it is the last chance for the Blues to cash in.

And Brighton are willing to pay £6 million for the talented youngster, per the Daily Mail.

Manager Frank Lampard hopes that Lamptey will agree on an extension, but the player wants first team football.

He is also in talks with Lille in France over signing a pre-contract for the summer, while Crystal Palace are also interested.

If the Brighton bid is successful, he would move in the January transfer window.

The right-back has been more involved with the Blues lately, but his Premier League game time has been very limited.
