Burkina Faso edge Cape Verde to claim first win

Run away group leaders Cameroon zoomed into the round of 16 following their 4-1 demolition of Ethiopia thus becoming the first team to hit the round of 16 with a game to spare.

The hosts are on six points with two wins leaving Cape Verde and Burkina Faso on three points each. Ethiopia are almost out after contention after losing two matches with no points in the kitty.
