CAF Confederation Cup – Aguda’s Brace secures victory for Rangers over Defence Forces
Enugu Rangers on Wednesday defeated visiting Defence Forces of Ethiopia 2-0 in a CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round, first leg encounter played in Enugu.
Goals from Godwin Aguda which came from the penalty spot to give the Flying Antelopes victory ahead of the return leg in a week’s time in Ethiopia.
Ranger’s Ajani Ibrahim was brought down in the 55th minute while in the 84th minute, goal bound Aguda was fouled from behind which led to the referee pointing to the penalty spot.

The FA Cup Champions would have added the third through Bright Silas whose effort hit the woodwork.
