CAF Confederation Cup: Plateau United crash out

Nigeria champions Plateau United have been eliminated from this year’s CAF Confederation Cup after they lost 4-0 to USM Alger of Algeria on Tuesday night.

They are out of the competition following a 5-2 goals aggregate, after they won the first leg 2-1 in Lagos.

USM scored twice in both halves to put the game beyond the visitors.

The home side who dominated the game deserved to win.

USM have now qualified for the group stage.
