Plateau United head coach Kennedy Boboye has revealed that his side won’t sit back when they face USM Alger in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup play-off clash in Algeria on Wednesday.

Plateau United survived a scare to defeat USM  2-1 in the first leg at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.

King Osanga shot The Peace Boys into the lead in the 23rd minute before Faouzi Yaya benefited from slack defending to equalise for the visitors. Substitute Emma James handed the Jos based side the winning goal.

Boboye said his team will strive to get a good result at the Stade Omar Hamadi.

“The second leg is a different game entirely. We will go there to attack. We would have loved to score more goals here (in the first leg in Nigeria) but we wasted so many chances. We will go there and try our best and we will see what happens at the end of the day,” Boboye said to SportingLife.ng
