CAF Confederation Cup: Rangers defeat USM Abbes to qualify for second round

Enugu Rangers have qualified for the second round of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup after they defeated USM Bel Abbes of Algeria 2-0 on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Winger, Bright Silas scored both goals for the Flying Antelopes who took to the game to their visitors from the blast of the whistle to the delight of fans. They would have increased the tally if not that they were wasteful in front of goal.

Both goals were scored in the sixth and dying minutes of the first half.

With the result, Rangers will now face a club that dropped from the CAF Champions League for a place in the group stage.
