CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United clash with Motema Pembe Thursday in Uyo

Rivers United CAF Confederation Cup Group B reverse clash with Motema Pembe of Congo will now be played on Thursday in Uyo, officials said.

This followed the non-arrival of the Congolese team.

Motema Pembe later announced the match will now be played today by 8pm.

The match was originally slated for yesterday (Wednesday) at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Rivers United are second in Group B with six points from three matches, a point behind leaders ASEC Mimosas from Cote d’Ivoire who have played a game more.

Motema Pembe are bottom of the standings on two points.
