Cameroon’s scoring inabilities worries Seedorf ahead Eagles crunch tie

The inability of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to score at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations has become a concern to head coach, Clarence Seedorf and football legend, Roger Milla.

Cameroon's scoring inabilities

So far the defending champions have only scored two goals in three matches which both men expect must improve before their crunch Round of 16 fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

“It was a very disappointing match. We played against a team like Benin and we cannot attack and try to score, it’s very disappointing. We cannot score goals if we are not in the opponents’ penalty area, ” Milla, also a two-time African Footballer of the year told pdefoot .com.

In his assessment of the team, Seedorf demanded a better performance going forward.

“We have to improve in several details, especially in attack, we have to be smarter to create more opportunities, we have not conceded a goal yet, there are positive things for the future,” Seedorf told France Football after Cameroon drew goalless with Benin.

But despite the lack of goals upfront, Cameroon is yet to concede a goal, unlike Nigeria who has conceded two against Madagascar.
