Cape Verde takes all three points in AFCON against Ethiopia
Cape Verde put on an impressive performance during their opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations, as they beat Ethiopia 1-0.
The Blue Sharks took the lead in added time of the first half when Tavares was picked out by Garry Rodrigues and nodded home from close range.

The matter was made easier considering Ethiopia played with ten men from the 12th minute onwards after Yared Baye was dismissed following a VAR consultation.
