Carabao Cup: Iwobi crashes with Arsenal as Moses Missing for Chelsea

Alex Iwobi has crashed out of the Carabao Cup with Arsenal tonight after losing 2-0 to North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.

It was the Gunners second loss in four days after they were defeated by Southampton at Saint Mary’s Stadium on Sunday in a premier league fixture which ended their unbeaten run.

Iwobi who was making his second appearance in the competition played for 58 minutes before he was pulled out by manager Unai Emery for Alexander Lacazette.

Sadly for the Nigerian international, he has gone 19 matches this season without scoring a goal.

Son Hueng Min scored for Tottenham in the 20th minute before Dele Alli added the second to seal victory for Spurs who will now face Chelsea in the semi final.

Chelsea on their part defeated  Bournemouth by a lone goal which was scored by Belgium international, Eden Hazard with six minutes to end the game.

As usual former Nigeria international, Victor Moses was missing in the encounter.
